Everton were defeated 3-2 against Arsenal in a largely end-to-end fixture devoid of much defensive prowess from either team. Despite the re-emergence of Winger Gylfi, the Blues front line consistently asked questions of the Gunners back line. The biggest positive of the match was Andre Gomes' return from injury and his influential cameo which bodes well for the Toffees moving forward.
