A doula is a beautiful word and concept. It reminds me so much of palliative care, a premier type of holistic service and support. Not just physical, not just emotional, not just the person who is ill but the whole family...these are so many of the qualities of the doula.

This episode is all about doulas at the end of life and how we may use them in the time period prior to hospice. Pre-hospice palliative care and doulas would be a beautiful connection, a very powerful team.
