How good of a listener are you? I can tell you, I’m a much better talker than I am a listener. This is the struggle, isn’t it? We always want to talk, we always want to share our ideas and if people don’t understand our ideas then we want to explain it further and make sure that they understood our point. And we don’t want to be interrupted because we are conveying an important idea. An important thought. But you know what’s fascinating, scripture tells us to listen. Yes, to listen to God. But I think the idea here is that when we get use to listening to God we become listeners. We become people who listen to each other.
