Robert Jenrick, former Conservative MP and now Nigel Farage’s right-hand man, is gunning for Chancellor if Reform UK wins the next election. He claims Britain is “broken and broke” and promises radical fixes, like scrapping Net Zero, slashing subsidies for renewables, and even allowing fracking.

But can the new kid on the political block really shake up the system, or is he just another politician with big talk?

He admits he had to ditch his “very long-standing party loyalty” after concluding the Tories were stuck in their ways. As for the switch from Tory to Reform, Jenrick admits it’s tough. He’s lost friends but gained new ones

Jenrick’s biggest beef is with Net Zero. He says politicians “impoverished people with some of the highest energy bills in the developed world,” and blames green policies for the death of British industry. He wants to end bans on oil and gas, cut renewable subsidies, and even allow fracking.

Despite every party promising change but hitting the same roadblocks like NIMBYs, 'the blob', and a lack of money, Jenrick insists Reform will plan better, build a credible team, and use opposition time wisely.

Jenrick says Reform are the only party who can take on Keir Starmer's Labour and any coalition of the left.
