“Do I want to own this agency? Who am I as a person? What is my purpose? It sounds cliche but: What is the meaning of my life?”

“It’s fascinating to dive into who was I as that little girl, and how is that showing up for me now?”

Welcome fam to this week’s episode of In My Truth.
Well, actually, it’s pretty funny because I think I always say welcome to this week’s episode but at the time of recording this episode, I had a backlog of about 14 episodes that need to be edited and released - but we’ll get into that next week. Stay tuned!
So, welcome to this week’s episode!
I have my friend Kelly Campbell with me today. We were introduced through a friend and client of mine, and by the time we finally got in touch we couldn’t even remember why we were meeting! We starting talking about business and a referral program of Kelly’s, and then we connected on Instagram and realised there was a LOT more to talk about.
Kelly is an agency transformation coach, working mostly with leaders to help them figure out how to find their purpose and discover a little bit more fulfilment in their work and their lives. Prior to this Kelly ran a digital marketing agency for non-profits before selling it in 2016, what she refers to as ‘the beginning of the beginning.’
These big moments in our life can transform us, thereby transforming the work we want to do and the way we show up in the world. In my journey of selling my financial planning company and finishing the financial planner chapter of my life, there was a level of ego death and saying goodbye to something I had attached my identity to. But it also led to rebirth.
I’m excited to dive in to this conversation with Kelly Campbell and find out where the beginning of the beginning has taken her.

“At what point in my life did I step away from my true nature?”
-
Listen in to the In My Truth podcast as Sarah Riegelhuth and Kelly Campbell get deep into the stories around shame, failure and guilt.
-
“The last interaction I had with her… I got her to the point where she was agreeing to go to see a professional with me, and then a couple of days before the first appointment she called and said, Yeah, I’m not going to be able to make it. And I said, You’re not going to be able to make it for the appointment, or you’re not going to be able to make it ever? And before you answer that, you understand what the difference is?”
-
Kelly and Sarah also get vulnerable with the stories they’re living with around:
scales of justice
identity
work/life balance
polarities
reforming a friendship with an ex
integration
femininity and the portrayal of femininity by our mothers
dishonesty and honesty
attraction
ego death
rejection
coming out as identifying as gay
mother-daughter relationships
boundary setting
fear of exposure
masculine energy
how our inner child shows up in our adult life

Remember you’re not alone, and there is hope, even though it may not feel that way at times. Talk to someone, a friend or family member and let them support you. Reach out to a professional. Do whatever you need to do to start your journey back to feeling good.
