As a survivor of domestic violence, Bella has endured a lifetime of challenges which resulted from her near death experience in 2014. Being diagnosed with PTSD, Brain Damage, Anxiety and Depression, Bella understands all too well the cunning and baffling effects of mental illness. Losing a life-long friend to suicide in 2020 arose a deep desire within Bella to ensure that no one ever felt the way Peggy did in that moment. Ending loneliness and finding suicide victims faster has been her mission ever since. Conceptualizing the entire app while in distress and mourning, Bella knew that no one should ever feel that alone that they take their own life. Her love for Peggy and need to keep others safe is what motivated Bella to name the company and app Safe-T-Peg.
