March is Endometriosis Awareness Month. Endometriosis is a disease where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows in other parts of the body causing pain, infertility, and organ dysfunction. It is estimated that 10 to 20 percent of women have endometriosis, but it seems that most people have never heard of it.
