Good soldiers of Christ, imagine early missionaries sailing to lands like Hawai‘i—facing stormy seas and unknown trials. Yet, they pressed on, devoted to their King. Ephesians 6:17 calls us to wield “the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” This rhema—God’s living, spoken truth—must live in our hearts. Like soldiers on long marches, we prepare for battles, unsure of the outcome, but trusting our King. With His Word in us, we endure, carrying His light into the world.
