Enduring in Faith on a Tuesday Morning

Listen Later

Hi, I'm Brynne B. Nelson, the host of The Tuesday Morning Principle Podcast. Our guest today is Sister Kaylie Paulson, who is a Millennial with some great thoughts for us. We are talking about enduring trials in faith!

I have a book (The Tuesday Morning Principle: a Millennial's Guide to Daily Gospel Living) out on Amazon; the link is here:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08TX15J3R/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=the+tuesday+morning+principle&qid=1611604440&sr=8-1

The Tuesday Morning Principle is the idea that the Gospel of Jesus Christ should be practiced on a daily, average, ordinary-life basis, as well as tips on how to do that.

Here's an overview of some of the questions we ask Sister Paulson:

  1. 1.     We’ve been taught that fear is the antithesis of faith. Since we know we should live by faith, does that mean we can never feel fear—or its relatives, like worry or even nervousness?
    2.     What would you say the significance of hope is, as opposed to faith, as it relates to enduring to the end?
    3.     The world is definitely scary in many ways right now. How do you, on a boring ol’ Tuesday morning, stay true to your beliefs and endure, even in the midst of things not being perfect?
    4.     Do you think enduring in faith has an impact on the world around you?
    5.     What are your favorite ways to find courage in faith?
    6.     Is there anything you wish people would do more or less of to endure the chaos of life?
    7.     Would you like to leave us with your testimony of hope today?

Tune in for some wonderful thoughts!
