The CarbonSAFE Initiative started in 2016 with the initial goal of addressing the key knowledge/technology gaps on the critical path toward Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) deployment. In the short time since its launch, it has grown into a pivotal program that will aid in the development of commercial-scale CCS projects in the US.
