What does it mean to repent?

The two words are often seen together in the Bible, but they are actually quite different. "Confess" means to acknowledge that you have done something wrong with regret or remorse. While "repent" is probably best described as a U-turn -- a life change.

We are called to do both and baptism is certainly part of that process. In Acts 2:36-39, Peter tells us to "repent [turn to God] and be baptized [go all in]."
