Hello musician all around the world, I hope we are having a great week. I welcome you all to this family of hive bloggers. It's been a while I posted here due to the fact that I took a recess to sort somethings. Its another week to explore music while being connected with a theme.
It's week 208 of hive open mic and we are to explore and connect through the theme “Hive”, which was selected by our community's recent spotlight artist @zullyscoutt.
When I saw this theme, I had issues with selection of my choice of song, it actually gave me a though time until a song came to my mind. I have been longing to present this song while I was on recess and I decided to sing it here.
For hive open mic week 208, I decided to sing a song by Michael W smith titled “Let it rain”. I believe most people knows that author of this song especially if you're a fan of gospel artists.
I decided to pick this song because of the deep meaning of the lyrics, even though the lyrics is short and is on repetition, it brings a wider meaning.
This rain does not depicts the usual and physical rain, even though it may also have something to do with it, we are talking about the other rain, which might be blessings, supplication of needs, favour, mercy, peace and all good things from above.
When God begins to make it rain in our lives, things will begin so easy.
The lyrics is so short and it's on repetition till the end of the video which “Let it rain (2x), open the floodgates of heaven, let it rain” (keeps repeating)

Hace tiempo que escribo aquí debido a que me tomé un receso para ordenar algunas cosas. Es otra semana para explorar la música mientras estás conectado con un tema.
Es la semana 208 de Hive Open Mic y vamos a explorar y conectarnos a través del tema "Hive", que fue seleccionado por el reciente artista destacado de nuestra comunidad, @zullyscoutt.
Cuando vi este tema, tuve problemas con la selección de mi canción, en realidad me dio un tiempo hasta que me vino a la mente una canción. Tenía muchas ganas de presentar esta canción mientras estaba en el recreo y decidí cantarla aquí.
Para la semana 208 de micro abierto de Hive, decidí cantar una canción de Michael W Smith titulada “Let it rain”. Creo que la mayoría de la gente conoce al autor de esta canción, especialmente si eres fanático de los artistas gospel.
Decidí elegir esta canción por el significado profundo de la letra, aunque la letra es corta y se repite, aporta un significado más amplio.
Esta lluvia no representa la lluvia habitual y física, aunque también puede tener algo que ver con ella, estamos hablando de la otra lluvia, que puede ser bendiciones, súplicas de necesidades, favor, misericordia, paz y todo lo bueno de arriba.
Cuando Dios comience a hacer llover en nuestras vidas, las cosas comenzarán muy fáciles.
La letra es muy corta y se repite hasta el final del video que dice "Que llueva (2x), abre las compuertas del cielo, deja que llueva" (sigue repitiendo)
