We save them by killing - 71,000
civilians and kids, now we leavin’ ‘em gouging

The promise of democracy
only left with kleptocracy
We paid war lords and drug traffickers
Cuz it’s easier than understanding the country’s political power
 
From Bush to Trump, yeah even Obama,
“We’ve made progress, there’s no more trauma”
We were fed like babies, whatever’s on TV 
“We’ve made progress, Afghan’s now free!”

General Lute – was our mid-east czar,
He didn’t have the foggiest
as to the purpose of this war.

US interest, is what brought us in
They’re dependent on us, see that’s how we win!
US interest, is what's bringing us out
SIGAR reports, we had no plan no doubt!

There’s a crisis coming, foreign and domestic
Our allies abroad no hope just pessimistic,
Our veterans abroad finally seeing a stop sign
But when they get home, they dialin’ the suicide hotline
