Lorsque Mansour est venu me voir pour la première fois avec son objectif de s'installer en Suède, j'ai été enthousiasmée par son projet. Il avait beaucoup de travail à faire. Son anglais était très rudimentaire et il n'avait pratiquement aucune expérience en matière de développement web. Mais à force de travail et de discipline, il a réussi à améliorer son anglais au point de se sentir prêt à postuler à des emplois. Après une douzaine d'entretiens avec des entreprises suédoises, il s'est vu offrir un emploi et a déménagé avec toute sa famille. Voici son histoire.

Hicham Bellahcene is an independent Software Architect. At 19, he left his native Algeria to study Mathematics. The cultural difference between Kabylia and Paris was tremendous, but Hicham quickly adapted to his new surroundings and received citizenship some years later. In this episode, Hicham and I discuss his reasons for wanting to improve his English and his method for language acquisition. He is a wise, humble, and balanced gentleman. His passion for technology and gardening has kept Hicham's feet firmly on the ground. Now that he's mastered English, his next project is to grow a couple of babies, inshallah. 

After injuring himself while working in a grocery store, Logan changed his life. He had always dreamt of working in Information Technology but was side-tracked. Determined like never before, Logan enrolled in a web development training program and finished it in October 2022. He took English lessons and scored a B2+ on his TOEIC test. Logan is now ready to conquer the world!
