It's been an eventful couple of weeks. Last Monday, Spain suffered a Peninsula-wide blackout. The previous Monday, we got news of the passing of Pope Francis. This week the conclave to elect a new pope begins on Wednesday, with 133 cardenals, 80 of them appointed by the late Pope Francis... In today's broadcast, we'll hear from the director general of the Pablo VI Foundation, Jesús Avezuela about what we can expect from the next few days.
And after that... Spain's finest flamenco will be on tour in the US and Canada during the months of May and June with Authentic Flamenco, a Teatro Real project. We talk to the Teatro's General Director, Ignacio García Belenguer, and bailaora Ángeles Gabaldón.
