'Revered and Feared: Feminine Power in Art and Beliefs' is the name of the exhibition the British Museum has brought to Spain. The exibition, located in Caixaforum Madrid, focuses on feminine power in art   throughout history and includes 166 pieces from prehistory util the 21st century. Eve, Lilith, Greek Goddesses and creatures such as Athena and Medusa, the Egyptian goddess Sekhmet... are included in the exhibition which is divided in 5 thematic sections: creation and nature, passion and desire, magic and malice, justice and defence and compassion and salvation.In today's broadcast we speak with Belinda Crerar, curator of the exhibition and content developer for international exhibitions of the British Museum, about the roles these characters have played in society since the dawn of time.
