Welcome to the very first episode of Blind Ambition Stories. I am Gladys Morales, your host for this podcast. I’m legally blind, and was recently declared a cancer survivor.

Starting Blind Ambition stories has been a dream of mine. I hope to inspire, motivate, and encourage people like you to pursue your dreams and goals.

In today’s episode, I would like to introduce you to a dear friend of mine, Giselle Jimenez. From the first day I met her, I was inspired through her life story filled with trials and errors, accomplishments, and her pursuit for a better future. Giselle Jimenez is a mother of two, a wife, and has been a student and worker at the Los Angeles Unified school district. Since birth, she’s been struggling to preserve her eyesight through various surgeries, and despite completely losing her eyesight, today she continues to live life with resilience and determination.
