The Food and Drug Administration and the Enoki King Mushroom Farm are recalling Enoki King Enoki Mushrooms once again due to listeria contamination. This bacterium causes a severe and sometimes fatal systemic infection in the very young, older frail individuals, and those with weakened immune systems. Listeria can also trigger miscarriages and stillbirths.
These mushrooms were sold in CA and in NY.
Don’t consume these mushrooms but return them to the place of purchase for a refund. For more information, call Enoki King at 1-718-290-6617.
