FAQ: You asked about solo travel, without your family. Is that wrong?

Answer: It’s a personal choice you can make, so think about it. Do you have someone to care for your family while you travel? Will they be able to feed, dress and take care of themselves without you? If you can say yes to these questions, you should be able to make the trip. You are able to do the solo trip you always wanted to take.

Santo Tomas Winery is on the main street east of the harbor but walking distance. You can see what it was like in the early days when alter boys used to serve the wine to priests in church. You can walk down to see the cellars here. The restaurant next door is delightful, so make a reservation if you like, in advance.

Today’s Travel Advice-

Plan some things and leave a lot of unplanned days on your trip for some spontaneity. You don’t need to have a new destination every day. You may find that you want to stay longer, linger and enjoy the roses. Give yourself time to get to know your destination before you leave so soon.
