Ensign College Devotionals

In this devotional, Lori Newbold shares how we can find Jesus Christ in the present moments of our lives, even as time and circumstances change. Through the Savior’s example, the story of manna in the wilderness, and personal experiences, Sister Newbold offers three ways to become more present: remember that His grace is sufficient, let go and recognize what we are feeling in the moment, and become an “in-the-moment minister” by noticing and serving those around us. She encourages students to put away distractions, seek the guidance of the Holy Ghost, and look for opportunities to help others feel the love of Jesus Christ. This devotional took place at Ensign College in Salt Lake City, Utah, on November 3, 2026.
