After descending from the mountain, I cleared part of an enemy camp and investigated a mysterious tower and bunker. Upon reaching the village, I navigated the rooftops to locate Juan. I intervened in two separate incidents where soldiers were harassing civilians, using stealth and my knife to neutralize the threats.
After checking the view of the village from that high mountain, I decided to get to the village at last to find my contact. I reached this weathered board that had the name of the village clearly painted on it, confirming I was in the right place.
While I was getting close to the village, I noticed this enemy camp on my way. I decided to check how I could fight effectively in this game, so I pulled out my weapon and started shooting them from a distance.
There were not a lot of them, only two or three soldiers guarding the small outpost, so it was not so hard for me to take them down. Once the area was quiet, I stepped into the center of the camp to look for supplies.
While I was done taking them down, I noticed a big palm tree fell on the ground suddenly near the edge of the camp. I don't know why it collapsed though.
Then I climbed up on the tower to check around the surrounding for any more incoming patrols. There were no enemies visible from the top, as you see. I took a moment to breathe and plan my next move while I had the advantage of the high ground.
After climbing down the tower, I was getting deep into the camp and noticed there was a bunker or a tunnel leading deep into the mountain, but I decided to leave it for another time. I ran back toward the main road, focusing on my primary mission in the village.
I reached the village at last and I climbed up on a roof of a house to stay out of sight. From there, I could see a large part of the village stretching out before me.
I was running across the spot where I should have found Juan, but the situation on the ground distracted me. I noticed an enemy soldier was questioning a village lady quite aggressively, showing her a portrait of someone they were hunting.
I was running away at first, but I decided to take care of that soldier in silent to help the woman. I took him down using my knife from behind. He didn't even have time to scream before I ended the threat and cleared the path for the lady to escape.
I took care of the body by throwing it into the deep water nearby so no one would come looking for me or the missing soldier.
Then I noticed there was another enemy soldier who had a villager on his gunpoint near the back of a house. I don't know why he was being so violent, but I just went for him and I took him down as well before he could pull the trigger. I just saved the villager, but the man went running and screaming in fear despite my help.
