We’re watching Star Trek: Enterprise Season 2, Episode 9 “Singularity,” but only Bill has actually watched the episode. It’s the Enterprise version of a three body problem as mysterious radiation coming from a black hole causes the crew to start taking their jobs seriously. Too seriously, in fact, as Hoshi obsesses over a recipe, Trip obsesses over fixing a chair, and Phlox obsesses over cutting Travis’s skull open. Can T’Pol convince the crew to, you know, lighten up a bit before they’re all dead?
We also had a special guest joining us this week, the Noisy Astronomer themself, Nicole Gugliucci.
Here’s an actual photo of what a black hole looks like!
Sound assistance by K.O. Myers at Particulate Media If you enjoy the show, follow us on Facebook or on BlueSky or send us an email to [email protected]. We cannot tell you how much we would love to hear from you!
