Many attempt to reinterpret the Bible to find justification for their own errors. They attempt to redefine a well-established Biblical understanding simply to evade uncomfortable truths; replacing clear, unambiguous texts with what one might perhaps wish them to say. This is particularly true in our day when it comes to issues of sexuality.
