About Masha Kubyshina:
In her own words, "While I always loved math and science, I graduated in English Philology in Barcelona (Spain). I moved to Bay Area in 2003 and worked for almost 10 years in marketing. In 2014 I decided to change careers to EdTech. I created my own startup (a tool to improve English vocabulary for professionals), went through a lot of ups and downs, learned to code in R and Python. Needed to get a full-time job, decided to apply to analytics and growth hacking jobs. Learned almost all the tech skills on the job + on Coursera, the internet, community colleges. Now I am working full-time as a Tech Director, consulting for 2 clients, and (still) building my startup in language learning with a small team"
