Joey has started 11 businesses; some succeeded, others failed. In 2023, he was overworked and questioned his purpose, he sold his business and traveled through South America, seeking to 'find myself.' and Surprisingly, he did.

He built a platform with 109K social media followers on IG, 7K newsletter subscribers, and a private community of 330 aspiring entrepreneurs. This inspired The Alternative Life Experiment.

Over the next 6 months, Joey will travel the world to start unique businesses —dance schools in Colombia, safaris in South Africa, and floating tiki bars in Antigua. Each venture will be filmed and shared as mini-docuseries on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, offering a real look at the startup process.

Joey's goal is to show the world that life is what you make of it; you don’t have to follow societal norms. Business doesn’t have to be boring.
