Episode 13: Enya is 23 years old from Montreal, currently living in The Hague. At LUC, Enya majored in Governance, Economics & Development and graduated in July 2017. Finding her spark in the global health courses, she began sculpting her GED courses on healthcare governance and policy-making - eventually writing her Capstone on the organisational sustainability of a digital health project in Ghana.

During the last year of LUC, Enya met her now co-founders via Skype. They had began working on YAPILI (https://yapili.com), which was to be a tele-health platform in Africa. Following graduation Enya travelled alone to Kenya and Botswana to visit local organisations, health facilities and communities to launch the product. Two years later, Enya is the CEO of YAPILI which has grown to become an award-winning social enterprise providing reliable and confidential health advice to African users in 8 countries via the YAPILI online solution.

Enya is also currently pursuing a Masters in Healthcare Policy, Innovation & Management at Maastricht University, where she can apply prior knowledge learned at LUC and experiences gained working in the healthcare sector.
