Daniel James (@danflyingsolo) is obsessed with exploring the world and meeting amazing people while getting as lost as possible with his camera.

Dan just returned from a 1,467 day trip around the world, which saw him living and working in different countries while creating a new career all around travel.

In 2014, Dan decided to pursue a life of adventure and exploration full-time. He left his career in the hospitality and restaurant industry to travel the world and share his experience through his blog, Dan Flying Solo.

He is now a full-time travel blogger working with travel and media companies all around the world. He was one of seven people selected as a Lonely Planet Pathfinder, which means he regularly goes on assignment and creates quality material for the Lonely Planet global audience.

He is also starting a digital media company in Portugal, where he currently lives.
