We’ve all had them, meetings with someone in an elevator or walking down a sidewalk. Whether we took the time to talk to them or not, we made an impression.
What did that first impression make them think of you? How many times have you, shortly thereafter, met them in a more formal situation and had to speak to them? Instead of allowing these sorts of encounters to just happen, we can harness their power to benefit our businesses or just enrich our personal network.

•   Have the outlook that everyone has something to offer.

•   Make it a practice to introduce yourself to the people you come across.

•   Introverts often have to work to break out of their shells.

•   Extroverts often have to work to listen as much or more than talk.
