Hi everyone! I am so excited to start this podcast, and I wanted to start off on a strong note! If you follow any of my social media pages, you know that I love to cook and I love food! I grew up watching my parents and grandparents cooking in the kitchen, and I was always mesmerized by their skills. In recent years, my love for food was amplified when I met my partner, who is a local chef and caterer. Needless to say, I’m always around food! Not great for my waist line. I wanted my first guest to be someone equally as passionate about food. Ithaca Food Dude has a large following in our area, and has been to probably more local restaurants than me! I’ve been a long time follower, and I appreciate that his underlying goal is to uplift local businesses and their owners. Of course, he has had negative experiences. I have disagreed with one or two of his reviews, but just like us, he is an average person going to restaurants! He just happens to post about them. I hope you enjoy this episode as we talk about some of our favorite local spots, restaurant, pet peeves, and more!
