Josh believes that Millennials are more focused on expressing their true identities, Dani feels that it’s her duty to encourage youth to be confident in who they are and Michael wants black leadership to advocate for all areas of blackness and not just those that are socially accepted as “normal.” This week the topic of black respectability is on the board. From what we think it is and how it impacts us today to what black leadership would be like if it didn’t exist, this conversation is not only refreshing, but much needed as well.
