Amigos, welcome back! On today's episode we're talking about Machismo. Karina and I learn more about each other on every episode, but this one was very insightful and more difficult to talk about than what we thought it would be. Unfortunately, the Latinx community accepts machismo as a "norm" in our culture and we are here to tell you that we can no longer condone those values. We are the generation that has to do better than our parents did. It is going to take a lot of unlearning, but a start is a start. Join us as we explore the several definitions of machismo, some examples, and the harms of it.
