Points

* Overwhelm can prevent you from getting started or bury you once you have dived in.
* Don’t be afraid to reduce the size or scope of your project in the beginning. You can always grow it later. (Think Minimum Viable Product)
* Prepare a plan. If you have a release schedule and you feel like you need to make a change, let your audience know. Don’t just go dark.
* Does “Be Everywhere” really need to be your strategy?
* Don’t be afraid of automation.
* Make accounts on all of the social media platforms to secure your identity there, even if you’re not going to be using them right away.
* It’s far worse to misuse a platform than not use it at all.
* Just because you use a platform once to add value to your main channel, it doesn’t mean you have to continue to use it consistently. If it applies to your plan, go for it. If not, don’t and don’t feel bad about it.
* Which channel gets you the best Return on Investment (ROI)? Focus on giving those users the best experience first.
