Welcome to Talking Deck: A Breaker High Podcast, a 44-part series recapping and reviewing every episode of the 1997 - 1998 youth-oriented Canadian-American comedy-drama series, Breaker High.
The series follows eight high school aged teenagers as they travel in no discernible pattern around the world on a cruise ship.
In episode one, the ship docks in Japan where the women plan on getting some luxury and TLC at a spa while the guys visit a local fishing village. Meanwhile, the ship's captain attempts to get his troubled son to partake in a tea ceremony despite his unwillingness to be on the ship.
This episode features special guest Andy Cole (Let's Write a Song) who expresses concern over the show's overall message, possible protagonist choices and whether or not the ship will wind up ashore on the island from LOST.
