My guest today, Dr Dan Reardon, is literally changing the fitness industry. I really enjoyed this interview because he is on the forefront of something revolutionary, and I mean it. I was impressed by his scientific approach to find the best type and frequency of training for your genes is totally customised for each individual.
Here are a few things about Dr Dan Reardon:
He is the founder of FitnessGenes (formerly MuscleGenes) A Medical doctor, who’s specialized in emergency medicine and trauma. A fitness writer and author (2 books published - HIIT and A Guide to Sports Nutrition); certified personal trainer (ACSM 2003); 15-years in the fitness industry, science editor of Muscle & Fitness and Flex magazine in the UK,
Europe and Australia; science adviser to Ultimate Performance (a global chain of elite personal training centers).
We also talked about his personal journey to having his company, his knowledge about nutrition, fitness and how your genes are influencing your progress. This interview is deep! If you’re into the science of getting fit, this interview is absolutely for you!
