My guest is a REAL PODCASTER, ya'll. And, he took time out of his evening from hosting both "The Patdown with Ms. Pat" and "The Chris Spangle Show" to appear on FMR. Because of BHM, we decided on 1974's "Blazing Saddles", starring Gene Wilder and Cleavon Little, and written by the late, great comedian Richard Pryor and directed by master of comedy, Mel Brooks.

This is a VERY divisive, satirical take on racism and is full of terms completely inappropriate and harmful toward many groups, specifically the Black community. However, the fact this film is nearing 50 years old and themes of government manipulation, racial tension, but also collaboration and conversations that needed to be had in order to make this film. Mel Brooks is still living, and hopefully you'll join us!
