Happy Monday nieces and nephews!

Did you know the average black and brown boy reads at or below a 5th grade level?

Did you know the government is deciding how many jails need to be built based on reading scores of our young children?

Did you know the average person doesn't read one book a year?

In January of 2022, I decided to go enroll in acting school. Through that experience, I gained comfort to perform onstage, falling in love with writing, and the intricacies of film and tv.

It wasn't until a vocal power class taught by Ms. Massey my final semester there that I found what really drives my love for reading and helping it reach others. Making people aware of our deficiencies when it comes to reading and literacy.
