Without giving away the punchline, you don't have to choose. It is possible to do the thing that you know you were put on this planet and make money. It's not an either or. And you 100% are allowed to want money.

Money does not make you a bad person. Being a bad person makes you a bad person. Having money just makes you a rich bad person :)
