Jake shares his testimony and story of battling retinal blastoma as a young boy, becoming fully blind for life, and how he has relentlessly overcome this adversity and now leveraged this as fuel in every aspect of his life. 

Who he is and how he attacks life is the epitome of relentlessness and gritty resilience for all of us to be inspired from. My hope is that your perspective shifts after absorbing this message and that you can grow your ability to be grateful for the gifts/talents/health/life God has blessed you with and to continue your journey of self improvement which WILL translate into the world around you. 

Jake means a lot to me as a brother, but also as an inspiration in how I move in this life and as a reminder to spend time in gratitude for the health we have or things we may overlook in our day to day lives. 

Anything you commit your mind, heart, and soul into is possible... especially with an undeniable faith in God. 

For context, Jake and I met in high school at Orange Lutheran in Orange, CA. We were in FCA together, traveled around the world in honors choir where we first met, ended up becoming football teammates, and I had the special opportunity to be his wingman as he long snapped for our Varsity team where we bonded forever.
