Finding Her: A Mental Health Podcast

EP: 019 The New Normal with Jordan Ray

Listen Later

On this week's episode of Finding Her, Julia talks about transitions and the reality of the fact that our lives are full of them both expected and unexpected. Transitions in the areas of loss of a loved one, divorce, financial hardships, health and medical diagnoses, and so many more. What would you do if an unexpected transition occurred unexpectedly in your life?  The New Normal was created to introduce the Finding Her community to Ms. Jordan Ray who is the founder and CEO of limitless medical logs. She created , manages and operates her company which provides doctor recommended medical logs for patients battling serious health conditions. Th log provides a way for people to accurately track their pain and symptoms daily. Patients and physicians need the log's unlimited options for daily accurate tracking to enhance their treatment plan for their particular diagnosis or diagnoses.  At age 16 Jordan watched her mom battle and beat breast cancer, and at age 17 Jordan was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation: A condition in which brain tissue extends into the spinal canal, present at birth. This condition was discovered after she blacked out on the softball field during her junior year of high school due to her Cerebro spinal fluid being blocked to her brain. The diagnosis led to her having major brain surgery 3 months later. Based on her personal experiences she saw the need for these " all in one" medical logs to benefit anyone who is battling an illness just as she is. Jordan wants to make a difference by helping people take control of their health and be an active participant in managing acute chronic conditions. She believes using the log will make people's lives easier and less stressful.  Jordan and her story have been featured in the Palm Beach Post, The Sun Sentinel, The Town Crier, ESPN, numerous magazine covers, speaking events, podcast interviews. Saving the best for last Jordan was named the Wellington Hometown Hero ( her home town in Florida).  Jordan's passion, grit, resilience, and strength to overcome a transition that not only changed her life to learn " a new normal" is felt in this episode. Her strength and message including working through adversities which promotes growth is one of the very reasons why she was asked to share her story to the Finding Her community. Enjoy! Also, please keep in mind that my two Yorkshire Terriers, Ruby and Sparky were very interested to speak with Jordan Ray as you can hear them either barking or scratching during my interview! ( again, another example of life not being perfect).   Leaving you with " There is no CRYING in BASEBALL!"   To get in contact with Jordan Ray and Limitless Medical Logs www.limitlessmedicallogs.com  ENTER for 10% OFF (FINDING HER10) [email protected] Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jordan.ray.9 https://www.facebook.com/limitlessmedicallogs/ Instagram:  @JordanRay25 @Limitlessmedicallogs Twitter: JordanRay25 https://twitter.com/JordanRay25 https://twitter.com/LMLbetterhealth
