Are you making your own goals the second priority to an agenda that is not your own? It’s easy to let things erode this way, as we constantly find ourselves playing it “safe” in an effort to avoid what we fear.
Taking action towards achieving the impact we’re after, mostly has to do with our mindset. We don’t trust ourselves to cause the right things to happen. We run away from what we are afraid of, and begin making compromises. We focus our energy into the wrong things, and end up causing the wrong things to happen.
How do we turn all this around? How do we leverage the power of a constructive state of mind to begin focusing our energy into the right places?
As the year is rolling into the final months, it’s the perfect time to check in with ourselves, our vision, and our plan. Let’s get an idea of what is not working, and what is working, and make sure we’re putting our efforts in the right places.
Then… Let’s take action…
Action step 1) Listen to this edition of The 15 Minute Mixdown. Action step 2) Formulate some questions to ask yourself as you check in on your vision. Near the end of this episode, Jon suggests some questions you can ask yourself to get started, so make sure you listen through to the end.
Have not written out your vision yet? Use the questions Jon suggests to jump start that process.
