Ollie Benn is the Director of Philanthropy and Social Impact and the Jewish Community Foundation San Diego. In that role, he led the giv4 homelessness in san diego fund, an initiative designed to engage all San Diegans in effective philanthropic solutions to homelessness. Before joining JCF, Ollie was Executive Director of San Francisco Hillel. He was formerly an attorney for an international law firm, and also has experience in the Bay Area startup community. Ollie received his J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law and a B.A. in History from the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in San Diego with his wife and young son. Ollie’s interests reflect him having lived equal amounts of his life in England and California, as he can seamlessly transition from being a yoga practitioner to a tea-sipping fan of English Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur.
