Unionize Yoga is a group of yoga and mindful fitness educators in New York City coming together to have a voice in the industry, raise industry standards, and create a more equitable and sustainable profession for all. Their goal is for employees, students, and business to thrive.

I sat down with Tamar Samir, Markella Los, and Liz Buehler Walker to find out more about what spurred their motivation to organize, where they currently stand after a successful first vote, and next steps for teachers in New York City and beyond.
