Juliana is a GIS Professional all-star, who is currently the Chief Operations Officer of Flourish and Thrive Labs. They leverage geospatial data along with community engagement tools to support the flourishing of people and communities. Part of her work is as Career Coach—both internally to F& T Labs but for the broader GIS Community. And she leads the charge in salary transparency! Juliana is here to talk about why salary transparency, particularly in the geospatial arts is important, how she elevates that topic of conversation, and her mentorship of new and emerging GIS talent. Juliana has a BA in Political Science, Urban Studies, and Geography from Wheaton College, and a MS in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champion.
