Welcome to the first episode of the podcast’s new mini series, Nickelodeon Summer! All summer long The Animated Journey will feature interviews with individuals working at Nickelodeon Animation Studio in beautiful Burbank, CA. The series kicks off with uber-talented Jocelyn Liang, background painter for one of Nickelodeon’s newest upcoming shows, Pinky Malinky, which will debut in 2018. From attending Art Center College of Art and Design to interning for Nick Games and Pixar to competing to create a theme park ride for Disney, Jocelyn offers expert advice on being willing to learn new skills, how she goes about the painting process and finding ways to exhibit your personal artwork.
