Veiled Unveilings, the latest Above and Beyond Dance project will premiere on Friday, May 5 as part of A Length of Rope at The Muse Brooklyn. For this creation, Artistic Director Chriselle Tidrick uses aerial fabric to explore the internal conflict between concealing and revealing one's vulnerability. Moments Tidrick spends hidden behind the fabric panel, wrapped within the fabric, or withdrawn into internal focus contrast with moments in which she hangs suspended in the fabric, body exposed, discovering her ability to move upward with strength, grace, and self-assurance. Tickets are priced on a sliding scale-- $10 to $25. They are available at: https://themusebrooklyn.com/events/.
