Wow Man I’m so energized. Recently I have been feeling better and better!!
However it has not always been that way, as I remember,
The nights going to bed with a heavy mind and a heavy heart,
Wishing the pain to stop or to never again wake up.
I am so grateful those days and nights belong to the past.
Yesterday I went to bed with a lot of great ideas in my head.
I looked forward to this day, so that I could write down everything I wanted to say,
Just figuring out where to start, although that’s not the most important part.
Sometimes just doing things without over thinking is the best thing you can do to break any cycle.
You just have to start, be active, if you want to get out of a negative spiral.
And one thing that always worked out for me, was working out on a daily base you see.
Because when you do just that, working out, your body will get you out of your head.
Never listen to voices that say you can’t do it.
Unless you can use it as fuel to prove it.
And prove it to yourself, because deep down you know you can do it.
Hey Namasté and welcome to the podcast DEPRESSED 2 SUCCESS where I share real stories, tips and tricks on how to beat depression. That’s my mission.
So back to the story all about how
My life got flipped turned upside down
And I’d like to take a minute
Just sit right there
Listen to me say that some people do care
So some might say that it is my so called ADHD mind speaking, but that’s ok.
Because I know I am so much more than what people might say.
Today I just wanted to share a bit about my days and all the things I realized along the way.
I believe sometimes the Universe gives us signs
And to see it you just have to be aware and awake.
So lately I have been thinking about my story of DEPRESSED 2 SUCCESS,
And even though I don’t want to give in to my inner perfectionist, I still want to give it my best!!
And I just realized one important thing that I might not have realized before:
One of my biggest reasons I feel so good, is because I want to serve the greater good.
So one of the questions I ask myself often is: how can I help to make the world a better place?
Because I know now the road of my suffering in the past led me this way.
So that I could be of service, so that I could help co-create,
A better world with less suffering, more equality, more love and more light.
Because that is exactly what I needed back when I was lost in my darkest night.
We are not alone here, just the opposite, we are here together
And just a little bit of light can be enough to make us see,
That there are more people in the dark than just you and me.
Sometimes we get out and sometimes we fall back,
But the more often it happens the stronger we get.
The truth is that life goes up in down, that’s just the way it is.
Somebody I just met explained it to me last, as riding the waves.
And that is one thing that I wanted to share btw.
Sometimes it can feel like we are drowning.
Sometimes it feels we are lost.
But when we realise we could also be learning
Then we have a chance to learn and grow the most.
During the hardest battles the strongest warriors are made.
Stop being a worrier and become a warrior so that your darkness too will start to fade away.
Another thing I learned is that we need a reason to fight and awaken our inner warrior.
And there is no better reason than to have purpose in life.
That was something I already knew and therefor is part of my depression prevention training,
but it resurfaced again and I wanted to put some emphasis on it.
Finding my purpose helped save my life.
