I used to look at exercise as a means to an end. Work hard to build muscles, get fit, or tone etc...but along the way I started to anticipate my workouts because it helped me deal with my emotions. When I started practicing yoga, unbeknownst to me, I began to build self-compassion not just during my practice but in my day-to-day.
In this episode, my friend, meditation, and movement teacher Renelyn shares how movement has helped give space for her emotions and how the lessons we learn from our bodies can appear in more areas of our life.
