Tonya works at Stone Canyon Elementary in Owasso Public Schools. She knows the students in that building by name and they know she is there for them. She is a wife, mom, and grandmother-with the name Lovee! ❤❤

She is going to share about a horrible tragedy that happened to her family in 2011. The unthinkable occurred when her pregnant niece was murdered in a drug incident. What happens next is a story of forgiveness and seeing others as people who are more than the worst thing they've ever done.

Her mantra is to tell her students, "Let your light shine!" You can let the light win or you can let the dark win. We may not understand why God lets us walk in some dark places, but we have to keep moving towards His Light. Her story is truly inspiring!
