Hi sisters and welcome back to the Sexyfit Podcast!
Today I want to talk about something you might be experiencing if you are, like me, currently getting in the summer shape.
I want to talk about faith in the journey.
When you start on a fitness journey, first you need to have a solid nutrition and fitness plan for your needs and your goal, a plan that is designed for you by someone who know what they’re doing. Secondary comes the faith in the process, that it will all work out in the long run and that it will bring you to the results that you want.
You will track your macros, do your workouts, follow the plan but you might not see the progress at first. It won’t be until you take measurements or step on the scale that you’ll be surprised by what you have achieved.
There are times when you will feel blah or off and you’ll want to quit because change is tough. There are times when we lack the faith in our abilities and our plan. But we have to choose to carry forward knowing that everything we are doing now, day by day and choice by choice, is going to carry out itself 6 or 8 or 12 weeks now, and that you will look and feel great.
If we let the lack of faith get to us, we might not experience what it’s truly like to carry out every step of the journey in the best possible way. Your best work is done when nobody is watching. Your biggest wins are the ones that you win with yourself.
You will see the benefits in the long run with every positive choice that you make.
So have faith in yourself and in your plan. Trust yourself that you’ve made the right decision, and do what needs to be done regardless of how you feel today.
