The Support Squad: A Podcast for Virtual Assistants

Ep. 078 What's in a Name? Choosing a Name for Your Virtual Assistant Business

Listen Later

I have to add “choosing a business name” to the list of things that new virtual assistants spend way too much time going back and forth on.

Choosing your name is important, because it will be the first impression your potential clients will have of your business. It should feel good to say, to hear, and to see in print. It should feel natural and like an extension of yourself.

But overthinking the name of your business can lead you to creating something that boxes you in and prohibits your growth.

On today’s episode of The Support Squad I’m sharing some things you should consider as you’re choosing a name for your business and I’m going to make a case for just using your own name & creating a personal brand.

Tune in to hear:

  • Some things you should consider when choosing a name
  • Why it’s important to ask for feedback on your name
  • A checklist of things to check into before finalizing your name
